Kathryn Deyerle’s multifaceted expertise in financial administration, business development, and marketing has been at the foundation of some very successful enterprises and business ventures.  She is the founder of VT Entertainment, which produces Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures,  the longest-running and most-watched syndicated wildlife show in the world, and has developed other properties for television on an international scale.  Under Deyerle’s direction, VT Entertainment also publishes award-winning, broadcast-quality educational videos on national and historic attractions.  Prior to founding VT Entertainment, Deyerle held vice president and financial positions in large publicly held corporations and small privately operated new business ventures, where she directed accounting/finance, legal, and human resources departments, and developed and implemented various effective financial and operational controls.

Deyerle created the business concept for VT Entertainment, including the business plan and negotiation and securing of seed and expansion capital, and is responsible for ongoing investor relations.  The private company has grown from its inception in 1986 to be a recognized force in the production of quality educational and family programming.  Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures is seen weekly in 95% of the market in North America and is translated into 14 different languages for international broadcast.  The wildlife adventure theme of the show is also a popular choice for specials and has made the show’s host, Jack Hanna, a sought-after guest and presenter on television talk shows such as Good Morning America, Larry King Live and The Late Show with David Letterman.   The company’s educational videos are established favorites in gift shops of national and historic attractions, school libraries, and private collections.  Deyerle is now in the process of developing other family-oriented adventure projects and show concepts.

As President of VT Entertainment, Deyerle directs operations, manages the financial reporting systems, and drafts and negotiates legal contracts with talent, sponsors, investors, and distributors. She also manages marketing and advertising programs including publicity, trade shows, websites, and promotional materials, develops new program concepts and opportunities, manages production budgets, coordinates shooting schedules, and approves final production cuts.

Deyerle holds a Bachelor of Science, Mathematics degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. With all of her talents, skills, and accomplishments, and under her direction, it’s easy to see why VT Entertainment is leading the pack in quality wildlife, adventure, environmental, educational, and family entertainment production.
